ostrakina

The Menalon Mountains are a small mountain range in the center of the Peloponnese. The highest summit is the Ostrakina (1981m). On clear days the view is brilliant in all directions. I went into the area in June 2023 and stayed overnight under the open sky. For about twenty hours I did not see any human being. I was alone with the birds and the bees, the sun and the moon, and the rocks. The variety and lushness of the Greek mountain flora was overwhelming.
