South of Agadir, the Atlantic coastline becomes more rugged and less developed, with fishing villages and small towns scattered along cliffs and sandy coves. This southern coastal region remains less frequented by international tourism, preserving a sense of remoteness and everyday maritime life.
Mirleft, perched above dramatic cliffs, combines Spanish colonial history with a growing reputation as a surfing and holiday destination.
Sidi Ouassay, at the edge of the Souss-Massa National Park, is known for its birdlife and unspoiled stretches of beach.
Tifnit is a traditional fishing settlement, where boats are pulled up directly onto the beach and caves serve as storage or homes.
